Busan Woman Commits Suicide Over Her Dog's Death

BUSAN, South Korea - A Busan woman committed suicide this week, over the death of her beloved dog. The 32-year-old, surnamed Kim, was found in the bathroom of her apartment with burned briquettes and clutching her dog. The apparent cause of death was carbon monoxide.

The female also left a suicide note, reading “Bury me with my dog so we will be together forever.” She moved out of her family's house four years ago, and had been taking care of the elderly dog who had been suffering from a kidney dysfunction.

She was found by one of her co-workers, who went to check on her when she failed to show up for work.
