JEJU, South Korea - The Busan I'Park fell short in their opening game this season, losing 2-1 to Jeju Sunday afternoon in front of 4,172 fans at the Jeju World Cup Stadium.
Park Hee-do opened the scoring for Busan in the 12th minute on an assist from Lee Yo-han, giving I'Park a great start to the game, as well as the season for new head coach Ahn Ik-soo.
However, Santos replied back 15 minutes later for Jeju, and man of the match Bae Ki-joong gave Jeju the lead in the 60th minute.
Jeju was much more aggressive in the match, outshooting I'Park 16-9, while also drawing 17 fouls to Busan's 10.
Busan's next match is the home-opener next Sunday at 3 p.m. at Sajik World Cup Stadium.
