Two late inning rallies and a near perfect game led Lotte to a three game sweep of LG over the weekend.

SEOUL, South Korea - Lee Yong-hoon went 7 ⅓ perfect innings Sunday, to lead the Lotte Giants to a three game sweep of LG over the weekend. Lee finished pitching eight innings of three hit ball while striking out seven in their 7-1 win on Sunday.

Lee retired the first batter in the seventh before LG rattled off consecutive hits, and added a third later to score on a close play at the plate. Lotte added four insurance runs in the ninth to complete the sweep.

On Friday, Lotte recovered from an early 3-0 deficit to beat LG 6-5. Kang Min-ho’s two run homer in the top of the ninth gave Lotte the lead, while Kim Sa-yeol shut down LG in the ninth for his 16th save.

Lotte once again used the ninth inning to spoil an LG victory again, as Jung Hoon hit a solo shot, his first, to cut the LG lead in half. Lotte added another to tie the game at four before they scored two runs in the top of the tenth to win the game 6-4.
