Lotte Lose Finale, But Take Two of Three From Nexen

Lotte capped off the week taking two of three games from Nexen at home.

BUSAN, South Korea - The Lotte Giants finished off the week on a losing note, but still took two of the three games at home versus Nexen this weekend at Sajik Stadium.

On Friday night, Sohn Ah-seop hit his first homer of the year as the Giants scored seven runs early to beat Nexen 7-3. Starter Ryan Sadowski could only make it through three innings, giving up three runs and three hits, while reliever Lee Seung-ho (1-0) picked up his first win of the year.

On Saturday, Shane Youman (4-2) pitched 7 2/3 shutout ball, while only allowing four hits, while Kang Min-ho hit a first inning grand slam as Lotte coasted past Nexen 8-0. Park Jong-yoon also hit his fourth homer of the year, a three run shot in the seventh.

Nexen came back on Sunday however, as Ji Jae-wook hit a two run homer in the first, and held off a late Lotte rally to beat the Giants 4-3. Go Won-joon (1-5) continued his struggles on the mound, allowing four runs and six hits in 4 1/3 innings.
