Lotte Moves Back Into Second

The Lotte Giants capped off a good week by sweeping the Doosan Bears in Seoul.

SEOUL, South Korea - The Lotte Giants swept the Doosan Bears over the weekend, allowing them to jump Nexen in the standings and remain a half game behind first place SK.
On Friday, Lotte scored two runs in the fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth innings to power past Doosan 8-4. Park Jong-woon hit a two run homer and knocked in four, while Song Seung-joon (4-4) pitched 5 1/3 innings for the win.
On Saturday, Ryan Sadowski (2-2) pitched a masterful three hit complete game as Lotte beat Doosan 6-1. Sadowski needed only 106 pitches to shut down the Doosan batters, striking out three while walking none. Hong Seung-hoon hit his fifth homer of the season, a solo shot in the sixth.
Lotte completed the sweep Sunday with a four run first led by Hong's three run blast, as they easily handled Doosan again 7-1. Jin Myung-ho (1-0) pitched 5 2/3 innings for his first win of the year, allowing one hit and striking out three.
