I'm pretty new to Korea and I've yet to find a dog-soup restaurant. I know a lot of people have qualms about eating dog, but I try to respect the culture and not to judge. I know we westerners tend to like to think of meat and animals as separate things. Everything comes pre-packaged and in no way resembles the reality from where it came. Most people I went to college with never killed anything larger than a bug, but throw down burgers like they grow on trees. I try to live my life a little more honestly than that. I hunted for years and have personally slaughtered animals that would feed my family and friends. What I am really looking for is a dog restaurant that has the dogs on hand. I don't necessarily need to be part of the gutting and cleaning, but  I would respect the honesty and transparency in a restaurant that did so on site. If anyone knows of such a place, please let me know. I would be willing to travel.

I have been here for several

I have been here for several years and have wanted to eat it but never made the effort. You can ask your Korean friends where to go. The name of the meal itself is called "Boshintang".
