Carsick Cars, a Beijing-based indie band formed in 2005, that has opened for acts such as Sonic Youth on their European tour will stop in Busan this week as part of their drive across Korea.
The show, scheduled for Thursday Feb. 4th at The Basement in PNU, is great news for Busanites who no doubt are growing tired of seeing most of the great music acts from around the world head to Seoul and skip right over Busan, Korea's second largest city.
This will be will be the second big act at The Basement in recent months, following up a show by British post-punk band Yacht, who were joined by the American band White Rainbow.
Let's hope this is the beginning of what will be a great year with tons of great acts getting down here to Busan. Even some bad famous acts would be something.
