'Ni hao, Busan’: Chinese paper published
BUSAN, South Korea - Called “Donggan Fushan,” a Chinese-language version of “Dynamic Busan” will be published on April 1 to promote city policy to Chinese residents and visitors, and keep them abreast of the latest goings-on in this thriving metropolis. Some 7,000 copies of the first issue will be printed.
The newspaper will be distributed to local government institutes, economic forums and tour agencies, as well as directly to Chinese tourists visiting Korea. The first issue will appear as an eight-page tabloid in full-color printed on vellum paper. From the second edition onwards, the paper will be downsized to four pages. Donggan Fushan will be issued once a month.
This marks the third foreign-language newspaper that Busan City is publishing after the original English version in July 2005 was followed by a Japanese version in 2010.
