BUSAN, South Korea -- Changwon LG defeated Busan KT and advanced to the championship game after sweeping the best of five series 3-0. The last time it has made it to the championship game was 13 years ago in 2000-2001.

BUSAN, South Korea -- The KT Sonic Boom pulled off a major trade with the Goyang Orions today, picking up the best point guard in the league.

KT acquired Tony Akins, Kim Seung-won, Kim Jong-beum and Lance Goulbourne for Anthony Richardson, Kim Do-soo, Jang jae-seok and Lim Jong-il.

Akins is KT's attempt to shore up it's weaknesses at guard while KT's hope for Cho Sung-min is that he will increase scoring.

ULSAN, South Korea -- The KT Sonic Boom played one of their worst halves in recent memory, falling to Mobis 78-49 Wednesday night.

After trailing only 31-30 at the half, Mobis outscored KT 47-19 in the second half to easily win their eighth game of the year, and pulled within a half game of league leading SK. The Sonic Boom dropped to 7-4, tied for fourth with LG.

Clark Leads KT to Overtime Win

BUSAN, South Korea -- The KT Sonic Boom continued their early season success with an 89-82 win over Samsung at the Olleh Victorium Sunday afternoon.

Ira Clark scored nine of his game high 29 points in overtime to lead KT to their sixth win of the early season. He added eight rebounds and block, while Cho Sung-min chipped in 17 points.

Daniel Sandarin led Samsung with 21 points, while former KT great Jasper Johnson had 19.

WONJU, South Korea -- Anthony Richardson scored 29 points including five three pointers as KT easily defeated Wonju Dongmu Promy 94-74 Wednesday evening in Wonju.

KT used a strong defensive effort which included 16 steals, including five from Cho Sung-min as the Sonic Boom pulled away in the third quarter, leading by 22.

BUSAN, South Korea -- The KT Sonic Boom look to be replacing second round draft pick Travon Bryant with veteran Ira Clark according to Jumpball Magazine.

Clark, now 38, has previously played for Samsung and LG while also having years of European experience.

TAIPEI, Taiwan -- The KT Sonic Boom were crowned champs at the Kwen-Fu Cup International Basketball Championship held in Hualian, Taiwan from September 11th through the 15th after winning the final 80-76.

The tournament's teams included one team from the U.S., six teams from Taiwan, and KT. 

KT won all five games it played, including three preliminary games.

LAS VEGAS, Nevada -- The KT Sonic Boom selected Anthony Richardson and Travon Bryant as their two foreign imports for the 2013/14 Korean Basketball League season.

BUSAN, South Korea -- The local professional basketball team, Busan KT Sonic Boom, will hold a two day camping event for players and fans to take part in together. 

The event will be held at Gyeongju Teenagers Training Center from the 22nd of this month. 

The camp will include rafting, a sports day and a BBQ party. 100 people can attend if they apply through the Busan KT homepage.
