DAEGU, South Korea - The Daegu Theatre Troupe is proud to announce their first show of the 2012 season The Love Collective. Showcasing almost all original works by troupe members, The Love Collective will be an evening of scenes and monologues celebrating the funny, the strange, the unusual, the inner turmoil, the outer actions – All Things Love.

This production will be the Daegu Theatre Troupe's first production in a theatre in Daegu. The show will take place Saturday, February 11th, 2012 to coincide with Valentine's day. The show begins at 9pm. Tickets are 10,000 won and available through www.daegutheatre.com.

NEW YORK - Girls's Generation successfully completed their two show promotion Tuesday. The group appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman on Tuesday night, then hit Live! with Kelly Ripa on Wednesday morning.  

Host Kelly Ripa was very impressed with the girls.

"That was amazing! Amazing!" she said. "I’ve never seen such audience participation in my life!"

SEOUL - Arguably Korea's most popular girl band, Girls' Generation, will hit New York City this week to promote their song "The Boys", which is the title track of their third album.

On Tuesday, the 31st, the girls will appear on The Late Show with David Letterman, which is on CBS, and will be aired at 11:30 p.m. EST.

The following day, they will appear on the morning show, Live! with Kelly, which is hosted by Kelly Ripa on ABC. The program will be aired live at 9 a.m.

According to SM Entertainment, Girls' Generation is the first Korean band to appear on a mainstream talk show on a terrestrial TV channel in the U.S.

BUSAN, South Korea, Dan Deacon is capping off his tour of Asia with a visit to Seoul and Busan this weekend. Deacon studied at the conservatory of music at SUNY Purchase, and later went on to graduate with a degree in electro-acoustic and computer music composition.
